In two and a half hours to your own internal seismography! About the power of inner movements in color, form and word.
Have you ever noticed how good it can feel to say “...”? Just how can words in painting not get to the point better? Anyone who wants to put their own movement flows on paper: from circular, flowing, broken, dull, colorful & explosive despite or without joy & pain; letters and (un-) allowed words — following in the footsteps of informal painting of inner structures, and as picture titles open up completely new worlds again — comes in.
In her courses in Pinneberg near Hamburg, stuarthojkum introduces how to turn off your head, express your own inner movement flows and put them down on paper; and to free yourself from following any objective guidelines in doing so. The focus is on the desire to let the abstract, or the fundamentally unbiased, flow out of oneself in a painterly unconscious way. The second step is about the desire to find the title. How image titles expand the world of images once again. The head can therefore also be switched on again and made aware once again of how valuable both are. And how to consciously work with the result of your own expressiveness. Depending on individual and group dynamic needs, stuarthojkum offers exchange, encouragement and constructive dialogue. Inner exploration, sharpening vision, expanding perception and artistry in expression, mixing chalks, using various strengths such as why red can be more loud and blue can be quiet, including direct to challenging but in any case mind-expanding exchange: at stuarthojkum, there is honesty that connects; you do the therapy at home! What you’ll do in the class
Chalks and paper are provided and stuarthojkum tries to make it easier to get started with the internal seismograph. In a relaxed atmosphere without pressure and coercion, everyone follows their own rhythm, pauses and follows the exchange and dialogue with the other participants as they arise. Exciting questions such as “Is there such a thing as universal truth in pictures” and “Who sees what?” , or “Can I paint my own energy and if so, what does it feel like?!” , or or!
Who is the class suitable for?
Adults also like with (their) children, although children usually need less guidance! For people who are open, interested in inner exploration and the learnable switch between inner and outer perception; and how titles make a picture even more exciting!
