Class description

Due to ancient Persian culture, the eventful history of Persia (today Iran) and the country's location on the Silk Road, Persian-Oriental cuisine has a great diversity and strong influences from other cuisines of the world — such as Indian cuisine.

In addition, Persian-Oriental cuisine sees food as the mother of medicine and focuses in particular on the healing aspects of nutrition. Spices and herbs play an important role here both in refining the dishes and in their beneficial and positive effects on people.

Distinctive features of Persian-Oriental cuisine

  • spices such as saffron, cinnamon, cardamom and turmeric
  • as well as fresh herbs such as mint, coriander, parsley, dill
  • Overall, the food is very mild and harmonious
  • The aromas are very finely coordinated
  • An important part of Persian cuisine is fragrant rice, which can be steamed or cooked
  • Yogurt in various variants (for example with fresh herbs or garlic) as an addition should not be missing

What is the process?

I will organize an unforgettable cooking event for you and you will get involved yourself. You cook with me in a private and relaxed atmosphere at home, with your friends and family or, of course, colleagues in the office.

  • You will try out the art of Persian-Oriental cuisine yourself and discover new tastes
  • With my support, you can put together your desired 3-course menu from a wide variety of options
  • I bring all organic ingredients and prepare everything
  • I will guide you through all steps of cooking and provide you with advice and assistance
  • The joy of cooking is followed by enjoyment with all senses.
  • You will then eat delicious food together
  • On request, I can clean up the kitchen area afterwards and/or bring along a friendly waitress
