In this workshop, the children build and program their own robots that recognize obstacles, navigate the room independently and react to collisions. After a short introduction to control and software, it's straight to building and experimenting. In between, of course, there is time for cake and presents. What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction to control and software
- Joint construction of a model with sensors
- First programming and testing of the robots
- Step-by-step expansion with additional sensors
- The robots navigate the room on their own
- Take a cake break and unwrap presents
- Conclusion after three exciting hours
