Class description
Hand lettering is the art of artfully designing individual words and letters and coordinating them harmoniously.
Don't worry, the handwriting is not meant as a transcription. The focus here is on the word. Under professional guidance, you will learn all important hand lettering techniques. We choose nice words and practice designing them in different ways. The right decorative elements and surprising tips will help you to refine letters and to deepen and support the meaning of the word. This allows you to safely implement your next hand lettering projects.
Look forward to a wonderful creative break, alone or with friends.
What is the process of the Handlettering Classic Workshop in Dresden?
In the first part of the workshop, we learn and practice all basic hand lettering techniques. After a well-earned break (time for delicious refreshments), we apply what we have learned to various examples. Finally, you still have enough time to try out all this on nice little objects that you can take home with you.
Who is the Handlettering Klassik Workshop suitable for?
If you enjoy designing and hand lettering, you've come to the right place! No previous knowledge is required and you don't have to be able to write 'beautifully. ' However, if you already have experience, all techniques and basics will be summarized and clearly explained here so that you can implement upcoming projects more safely.
How can you further develop the skills you have learned from the Handlettering Classic Workshop?
With all the hand lettering techniques you've learned in this course, you can already conjure up beautiful lettering. However, if you want to dive even further into the world of hand lettering and refine your style, I recommend the “Hand lettering for experienced” workshop afterwards. There, we use these techniques to focus intensively on the design of letters and words and the layout (composition). We'd love to see you again!
