About this class

Mine fire with your self-made ceramic objects.

The course takes place on both days in Marie-Annick's studio in southern Brandenburg. The exact address is: Groß Eichholzer Kolonie 8, 15859 Storkow OT Groß Eichholz.

What you’ll do in the class

  • On the first day (approx. 5 hours), the parts brought along are packed with organic materials and sulphates and placed in the pit and fired.
  • After 48 hours, the cooled parts are removed from the pit, cleaned and the surface rubbed with wax (duration: approx. 3 hours)

Who is the class suitable for?

This workshop is aimed at amateur potters who have already prepared screwed (preferably polished) parts and would like to take part in a mine fire.
