About this class
The graffiti course during the Easter holidays!
In our courses, we combine the historical background of graffiti culture with practical exercises and educational content. Everything is based on the fact that participants can address the topic individually, but at the same time gain collective experience. This brings the participants together and empathetically allows them to celebrate their joint successes. Graffiti has been a collective creative enterprise right from the start. We convey this spirit in an undiluted way.
Our courses are not school lessons, but more creative events in which body and mind are promoted. We do not grade or evaluate the results, but focus on motivating participants to create their own output that appeals to them. We teach you the technology and attitude you need to develop your own style. This is an absolutely individual process. The focus is on fun and personal development and can provide a good basis for further artistic development and be a further element in the creative process.
What you’ll do in the class
- Day/Monday: Intro, history of graffiti art, guided skits
We learn something about the history of graffiti and the first masters.
The correct sketch technique is taught. Together, the first graffiti sketches and associated material are created.
- Day/Tuesday: Basics, first spray action under guidance, watching films
We look at artists and their working techniques while sketching, and thus further develop our own technique. In addition, selected sketches are implemented using spray cans.
- Day/Wednesday: Basics advanced, painting with a spray can, study literature
We are gradually continuing to work on our drawing technique. At the same time, we expand our learned spraying techniques and practice, practice. With books, we continue our education in parallel.
- Day/Thursday: KIDS DO GRAFFITI: Design your own canvas
On the last day, we'll bring out everything we've learned to the fullest.
We summarize all the technology, improve ourselves once again, and individually design a 60x80 cm canvas for the grand finale.
