Experience a unique street art workshop in Cologne and design your own large-format mural! In an authentic urban location, you will learn how to create expressive wall art — with cutting, layering, color gradients and more. Under the guidance of experienced street art artists, you will create a professional design without any previous experience. Whether Flamingo or Frida Kahlo — you choose your design, receive individual support and proudly take your work of art home at the end. This workshop combines creative freedom with well-founded technology — a must for art fans and curious people!

What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome in an urban atmosphere at the artort Academy Cologne
- Introduction to spray can technology and safety applications
- Selection of a ready-made design (various levels of difficulty)
- Draw and enlarge the template using grids, stencils, or sketches
- Learn and apply spray techniques: cutting, layering, color gradients
- Technical basics: spacing, pressure control, line guidance, cap selection
- Supervision by professional artists with street art and painting backgrounds
- Snacks and drinks for creative refreshment
- Completion of your own 1.25 × 1.25 m mural
- Final round and handing over of your artwork to take home
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is ideal for creative beginners without previous knowledge as well as for advanced users who want to develop their street art skills. Whether as an individual, with friends or in a team — anyone interested in art over 16 years of age is welcome!
