What you’ll do in the class
The first two hours
- Welcome and introduction
After a warm welcome in the workshop, I will show you the casting process. Then you pour your own follower and I'll help you with that. - Melting and casting
Each person eats ten grams of silver to melt. We share the work: You will experience first-hand how the silver melts and is cast. Together, we'll look at what shapes are created for your jewelry. - Refinement and preparation
If necessary, continue to process your shape with files and sauces. We then anneal the pieces and place them in the pickle. Then we'll take a short break.
The second two hours
- Manufacture of the trailer
We transform the castings into finished connectors. I read the first D6se to your follower. If you wish, you can start the second d6se yourself. - Polish and finish
With a polishing motor or brass brush, you give the surface your personal look, matt or glowing, according to your taste.
