Guided canoe trip “The Wild Mecklenburg” 8 days
The Mecklenburg Lake District is an extensive network of lakes and canals. The best way to explore this natural landscape is by canoe. Our guided adventure tour not only focuses on sporting activity but also on the group experience. The tour is carried out with a trained canoe guide, who prepares the group for the upcoming challenges, explains how to handle the boats and draws attention to rules of conduct on the waters and in the Müritz National Park.
The nature in Müritz National Park is pristine and wild. On our canoe trip, we follow in the footsteps of sea and ospreys, cranes and bitters. The focus is on enjoying the nature of the Mecklenburg Lake District, switching off and relaxing. The Müritz National Park is ideal for this somewhat different tour. On this canoe trip, the participants decide when to continue or whether they want to stay.
A program for everyone who wants to experience nature in Mecklenburg together as a group — adventure, nature, just being outside and having fun. With all planning, the “Wild Mecklenburg” canoe trip should include free time for being together without a firmly organized program. The start and end points of the route have therefore been fixed, and in between we are flexible and listen to the group. Experience this break from everyday life with us on the waters of Mecklenburg. How does this activity work?
Canoe trip itinerary:
Saturday:
Arrival in the course of Saturday afternoon to the canoe rental at Lake Leppinsee. We explore the area around the canoe rental and campground and set up camp. After an introduction to paddling techniques and rules of conduct, we go out on the water on Lake Leppin together. We get to know each other while eating together.
Sunday:
First experiences: Short canoe trip to Müritz — back and forth without luggage. We get to know each other better, learn our strengths and test our team spirit. Overnight at the well-known camping site on the C20 in Schillersdorf.
Monday — Friday: Nomad
life begins: From today on, we are out and about in Mecklenburg by canoe! We travel from campground to campground by boat. That's where we dismantle and set up our tents. If we particularly like it somewhere or we need a paddle break, then we are welcome to stay in one place for two days — rest, shop, have leisure time. A lot can do, little has to. We have time and are flexible. On Friday evening, we reached our final campground. Here we can round off the week barbecuing and talking together and head home in peace and quiet on Saturday.
