Effects
The most inconspicuous props can make an entire portrait look different. I'll show you the variety of designs and how easy it is to use these tools.

How does this activity work?

- Camera setting in relation to portrait photography
- Workflow with the model
- Working with natural light in the studio
- Fottime to practice - participants are their own models - learn how to empathize with the model
- Photo set with model
- Outdoor photo shoot
- Use of technology and reflectors
- Learn to shoot without tools
- “Keep it simple” image editing workflow
.
At the beginning, we will discuss the special features of camera settings in portrait photography together in a small theoretical part.
I'll show you where we can create portraits anywhere. We work with tools such as the reflector and use a flash. I show many other tips and tricks to influence lighting and guide light. You take pictures of each other so that you can empathize more with the model later.
We play with depth of field and learn to “guide” the light. We'll start practicing how to use the model here. We quickly forget to communicate with the model because we are completely absorbed in our technology and the set.
Then we shoot the first sets with window light. Different sets and various options are available.
Before that, let's get ready in theory by practice, it won't be dry under any circumstances!
The photo review concludes the course.
