Class description
This pottery course in Munich North gives you an unforgettable and exclusive pottery experience. So if you're interested in a creative group event (max. 7 participants), then you've come to the right place!
How is the pottery course in Munich going?
- In small groups, each participant works for two days (Sat, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.//Sun, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and has the opportunity to experience the sound in its meditative effect and in all its diversity
- After an introduction to the material and its design, we will demonstrate each individual work step
- We will center the sound, break it up and pull it up
- You can choose from different shades
- We mainly use Saturday to work at height (cups, bowls), Sunday more for breadth (plate) and for rework.
- Thanks to the extensive duration of the course, we can accompany the finished pieces during the individual dry phases and also have the opportunity to turn off, pull handles and make snorts (pourers)
- We will also smooth surfaces together, press in patterns and discuss the options for painting and glazing.
How does this activity work?
After an extensive introduction to the world of sound, we practice preparing, i.e. hitting the sound. Then we'll focus on the basics: We'll learn and practice centring before we get down to the first small cups and bowls.
We then go into more detail and practice plates, get bigger, answer questions and use the entire day to practice.
The second day starts with a repetition and more time to shoot before we get on with the rework after noon: We learn how to handle, twist, smooth and stamp and practice these steps on our works from the previous day.
Who should definitely take part?
Adults, beginners, advanced users, repeaters, pottery enthusiasts
