Class description
In this workshop, you will dive into the world of hand lettering and make your first attempts at painting letters. After a short introduction, the focus of this course is on brush lettering technology and you will learn how to use a brush pen correctly and how to achieve beautiful results with it.
You don't need any previous knowledge, just maybe an idea, your favorite quote or a saying that you would like to write. But don't worry, you'll find plenty of local inspiration if you don't have a brilliant idea.

How does this activity work?
At the beginning, I'll give you an overview of hand lettering and the individual areas. After that, we quickly get into practical work. I'll simply show you alphabets that you can implement quickly, and then the focus is on brush lettering technology. You will learn how to use the brush pen correctly and draw the first words together with me. I'll also show you how to create simple backgrounds for your lettering with just a few materials and there will be enough time to try things out, ask questions and practice.
