What you’ll do in the class
- Arrive and greet: You will be welcomed with a welcome drink at Atelier Sinn in Berlin-Mitte and start your creative team event together.
- Introduction to candle casting: The workshop leader will introduce you to the materials, tools and basics of making scented candles. You will learn how wax, wicks and fragrances are processed and what you need to pay attention to when casting candles safely.
- Develop your own fragrance compositions: You will get to know the scent notes provided and choose your favorites. You then combine different scents to create a personal fragrance mix for your candles.
- Pour scented candles yourself: Under professional guidance, you prepare your candle containers, position the wicks and process the wax with your selected fragrance composition. Your individual scented candles are created step by step.
- Cool down and finish candles: Your scented candles cool down and start to harden. Meanwhile, you can exchange ideas about your fragrance creations and finish the candles according to the design options provided.
- Round off together: You look at your self-made scented candles and discuss how to then safely transport them and let them completely harden.
