What you’ll do in the class
At the beginning, you will receive an introduction to the art of pressed plants: We'll talk about their story, surprising anecdotes and special personalities — such as Princess Grace of Monaco, who worked with pressed flowers herself. Or have you ever heard anything about Erzgebirge ikebana?
This is supplemented by basic botanical knowledge: Which plants are good for pressing? Which less? What do I have to consider when collecting and pressing plants?
Then it's time to practice: You create your own flower picture and a handmade greeting card from carefully pressed petals, which I provide to you. Beautiful music and petal tea create a harmonious atmosphere.
Optionally, you can have your work framed on site in a glass frame and purchase a starter set to continue working at home.
Who is the class suitable for?
The workshop is just as suitable for beginners as it is for people with creative experience — the focus is on the joy of doing, slowing down and the respectful use of natural materials.
