Join this hands-on ceramic painting workshop in Berlin and design your very own ceramic cup!
Come paint and decorate your own handmade ceramic cup! Using a special ink that I invented to withstand the high heat of the kiln. I have screen printed many colorful designs including narwhals, flowers, dinosaurs, clouds, paper airplanes, axolotl, cats, and many more. I’ll show you how to apply these to your cup and let you practice on a ceramic tile. After you have all your screen prints in just the right places, you can use underglaze paints to make your cup even more beautiful.
What you’ll do in the class
We will start by letting everyone choose from the many different screen print designs, each in several colors. Then I will teach you how to apply them. You can practice as much as you like on the ceramic tile that I will provide. After you have all of your screen prints in place, you can paint! You can choose to paint around or on the screen prints in order to give your cup more color. The first part shouldn't take more than 30 min, so the last 1.5 hours can be spent letting your creativity take control! I will be there to answer any questions or to help with anything you need while you decorate your cup.
*Your cup will be glazed, fired, and ready for pick up within the week!
