How does this experience take place?
- Meet your guide at Paulaner Bräuhaus at Kapuzinerplatz 5 in Munich
- After the welcome, you will receive an introduction to the process as well as important safety and hygiene instructions
- In the brewhouse, you will learn about the history of the brewery as well as the raw materials water, malt, hops and yeast
- A film presentation in German or English explains the individual steps of beer production
- You will then visit the malt room and learn how malt is prepared and crushed
- In the brewhouse, you can see, among other things, purifying pot and wort pan and learn how the beer wort is made
- In the fermentation room, the guide will explain fermentation, the function of yeast and the formation of alcohol
- It then goes to the aging cellar to the storage tanks. Here you can find out more about ripening time and temperature management
- You will then taste various freshly brewed Paulaner beer specialities and get to know their aromas
- To round off your culinary experience, enjoy a Bavarian snack platter and a freshly tapped measure of beer
- At the end, you discuss open questions directly with the expert staff
- In total, the experience lasts around 2 hours
