Class description
In this ceramic workshop, we make a set of incense sticks and scented oil together in a cozy atmosphere. I'll show you the basics of ceramics as well as thumb printing and plate techniques and help you make your ceramic pieces. You can decorate them with plant prints or stamps. Your set will consist of three pieces: a plate as a saucer, a holder for incense sticks and a diffuser for essential oils. As a material, I will provide you with an anthracite-colored tone with a special surface structure and feel.
After the drying time of 1 to 2 weeks and the first fire (scrub fire), I will glaze your ceramic pieces with a glaze suitable for the clay. They are then fired a second time by me (glaze firing, after which your ceramic turns into stoneware) and can be picked up by appointment.
