About this class
G&T, the (secret) favorite of many professional bartenders, has been experiencing a boom for some time that can be described as more than a renaissance. In addition to the incredible variety of gin fillings that has been coming our way since around 2010, more and more types of tonic are also coming onto the market. In addition to classic “Indian tonic”, there are now alternatives such as Mediterranean, Cucumber, or Lemon Tonics. In many bars, gin & tonics are offered with various decorations, be it limes, cucumbers, currants, or violet blossoms. But does the ultimate G&T exist? Are regional influences important, such as Austro-G&T?
Learn something about the possible combinations of the different gin styles and tonic variants. Find out which tonic goes best with your favorite gin.
