In my “Watercolor & Lettering Workshop” course with the theme of greeting cards for every occasion, you will learn the wonderful art of watercolor painting and hand lettering to create unique and creative greeting cards for every occasion. Whether it's birthdays, weddings, anniversaries or simply a heartfelt thank you — you'll learn how to create impressive greeting cards with ease and joy.

COURSE STRUCTURE

Three creative & colorful hours await you in a relaxed atmosphere and a great atmosphere.

My workshop starts with an introduction to the basics of watercolor painting. You will learn the various watercolor techniques, master color mixes and learn how to create color gradients and textures on paper. We will then focus on hand lettering, an art form in which you artfully design letters and express your creativity. You will learn the basics of font design, various fonts and techniques to harmoniously incorporate your texts into the design of your greeting cards.

During the workshop, we will carry out practical exercises to deepen your understanding of watercolor painting and hand lettering. You will have the opportunity to try out different motifs and styles to develop your own individual style. I will give you tips and tricks on how to embellish your cards with special details and personal accents.

OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE

By the end of the course, you will be able to create personal greeting cards for any occasion. You'll have the knowledge and skills to skillfully use colors, fonts, and layouts and express your messages with creative art. Your homemade greeting cards are sure to inspire joy and enthusiasm among family, friends and colleagues.

I would like to provide you with as much knowledge and techniques as you need them individually, guide you through all exercises, answer your questions and give you personal feedback on your work.

After the course, you will be able to work on your own projects at home and enjoy designing greeting cards for any occasion.

YOUR PROJECT

You design 1-2 postcards with a watercolor background or watercolor illustrations plus the appropriate letterings for your individual greeting message. Depending on the time, you will of course also design other projects. You can let your creativity run wild and create your personal greeting cards based on the exercises or under my guidance.
