About this experience
Enjoy an extraordinary experience with alpacas & llamas. A special event for the whole family in the beautiful nature of the Eifel.
Our llamas and alpacas live right in the High Fens — Eifel Nature Park. From our farm, numerous hiking trails lead through forests, meadows and nature reserves of the breathtaking Eifel.
We hike with our animals for about 2 hours through the picturesque countryside of the Eifel, along the Hoher Fens and the Kall, followed by a bathing experience for the alpacas & llamas on the stream.
Please note that this is an outdoor event. The hikes also take place in bad weather, e.g. rain.
How does this experience take place?
- After a short briefing and information about the animals, the alpacas & llamas are distributed to the animal guides.
- Two people share an animal and can take turns.
- The hike leads uphill, downhill and over straight paths.
- There is a stop at the “alpaca toilet” and later a bathing break for the animals.
- During a break at the bathing area, you can also unpack your own provisions.
