Class description
This nude drawing course near Hamburg shows how nude models can be understood and artistically implemented through perceptual exercises, even without outstanding anatomy knowledge.
The courage to experiment is just as important in this course as the search for realistic accuracy. In addition to designing what has been seen, students also learn how to quickly, sketchy capture of nude models.
How does the nude drawing course work?
- A live model is available to us every day until noon. We use the rest of the course time to painterly and draw the pictures, sketches and drawings created before the model.
- The participants with less experience learn the basics of nude drawing and nude painting on models.
- Advanced participants can deepen their skills and develop their own style of nude drawing.
- In addition to image reviews and corrections, tips on painting and drawing techniques are also given.
- Areas such as composition, the correct creative use of light and darkness, form and color are also presented in short theoretical units by artist Hinrich Schüler.
The course is suitable for beginners and advanced learners alike.

PLAN:A Atelier Anne Schwabe
What initially began as a passion and with attending various artistic seminars developed into a freelance work as a visual artist. My work focuses in particular on free and (figurative) abstract painting.
