Goldschmieden im Wendland
Discover the art of goldsmithing in my studio.
Under my professional guidance, you can further develop existing projects or start from scratch.
Even as a beginner, you are very welcome.
My goldsmith is set up for 5 participants, so come alone and get to know new colleagues,
or book a course with friends.
We forge four hours a day, then it's time to relax and explore the beautiful Wendland region.
This course gives you the opportunity to explore your creativity.
After these days, you will go home with at least one individual piece of jewelry.
What you’ll do in the class
How does the course work?
- A warm welcome on Tuesday at 11.00 a.m.
- First of all, we will discuss which pieces of jewelry you would like to make. You choose the material. A wide range of metals and gemstones is available. Of course, we also talk about the budget.
- I'll give you a brief insight into the manufacturing process and explain the first steps.
- Then we start with a saw, file and pliers.
- You will even learn how to solder on your own under my professional guidance.
- We arrange a short lunch break, then we'll forge until 15:00.
- Every day we start again at 11.00 a.m. and work until 15.00 p.m.
- There is plenty of time left to explore the beautiful area.
- You can rent bikes in the village, and the Elbe cycle path is only a few meters away.
- This course also gives you the opportunity to implement more extensive projects. I will assist you in setting and grasping gemstones
Who is the class suitable for?
After more than 30 years as a course instructor, I have developed a concept in which even beginners can make at least one piece of jewelry. So you don't need any previous knowledge to take part in the goldsmith course.
With me, you will learn the craft step by step. Through my training as a designer, I also support you in finding and designing ideas.
