the Craft Collective — DIY workshops with backyard vibes in Munich's Westend.
We believe that creativity is one of the best ways to escape from everyday life for a few hours: keep your hands busy, put away your cell phone and finally take something of your own home with you. That is exactly why we created the Craft Collective.
Our workshops take place in a special secret spot: in the old horse stables of a Munich brewery, hidden in a backyard in Westend. Here, we combine creative projects with a relaxed atmosphere and modern DIY culture.
This is not about being able to craft perfectly already. Our workshops are designed for different levels of experience — from beginners to experienced DIY fans. We provide all materials and tools and guide you step by step. At the same time, there is enough room to individually design your own project.
Our passion for DIY is also reflected in our team: Dini has been an enthusiastic hobbyist since childhood, Felix brings his craftsmanship, experience as a jewelry expert and a creative solution mindset. Together, we want to show that DIY can be modern, versatile and above all really fun.
Location
Our studio is located at Schwanthalerstraße 141 in Munich's Westend — but not directly on the street, but hidden in a backyard. There are the old horse stables of a Munich brewery, where our workshop space was created. The glass front leads to a cozy room with a special backyard character.
Everything is ready for our workshops: materials, tools and aprons are available, as well as soft drinks and small snacks. For us, a relaxed atmosphere, good music and enough space are just as much a part of the workshop experience as the creative work itself.
A maximum of 12 people can participate in an open group. This leaves enough room for individual support and support during the workshop. A higher number of participants is also possible for private groups.
Classes and events
Our workshops combine modern DIY techniques with projects in which everyone can individually design their own result. The program includes raysin, macrame, hand lettering and UV resin. Depending on the workshop, this creates individual trays and candle holders, your own macrame photo wall, bookmarks or pieces of jewelry.
It is particularly important to us that no one goes home with the feeling that they have not come along. For this reason, the workshops are designed according to experience levels and are personally supervised. At the same time, there is enough freedom for your own ideas and designs.
And of course the surrounding stuff is also part of it: Arrive, have a non-alcoholic drink in hand and enjoy a creative break together — hands on, screens off.
Team events and private events
Whether it's a birthday, a girls' night out or a corporate event: private groups can reserve the backyard exclusively for their workshop. You can choose from our existing workshop concepts or have the workshop individually tailored and designed for your group.
At both open and private events, we provide materials, tools and creative guidance, while you can focus on spending time together. There are also soft drinks and small snacks.
The result is an event in which not only something creative is created together, but each person also takes home a homemade result at the end.
