BPS is a cooperative with a long tradition. Since 1929, families have been coming together here to draw up joint roadmaps and support each other in times of crisis. In this way, the community of family businesses forms a powerful network on the Rhine.

Each owner family gives their ship a personal flair and a special touch. There is always a representative from the family business on board as your point of contact. Over time, ships have become more comfortable, gastronomy more diverse and management more sustainable. Wherever possible, we work with family businesses from the region.

For us, the careful use of energy and fuels is not just a question of price, but has been part of our everyday work for years. This includes adjusted travel times and docking situations in regular services, as well as switching off energy consumers that are not absolutely necessary - the generators are only used when necessary. Since 2018, our ships have been running on GTL, liquefied natural gas, which produces significantly fewer emissions than diesel and significantly reduces lubricant consumption. But we are also open to new drives and are constantly learning about the feasibility.

As hosts, we are always personally on board for you. Together with our long-standing employees on our ships and at the stations, we are fully committed to all trips so that you feel at home as our guests. With many years of experience, we are here to help you plan your event and will be happy to advise you.

All our ships are lovingly maintained and constantly modernized by their families. This allows us to offer you equipment and comfort that is rarely found on board ships.
