Get to know BBQ Kings

May we introduce ourselves:

We are Sebastian Müller & Christian Huber from Achern. We have been offering BBQ catering since 2015.

It is best when you can share joy and pleasure. For this reason, we specialize in BBQ catering from smokers. Grilling and BBQ is our great passion, which we have perfected over the years.

For our personal development and to always be able to offer our customers something new, we regularly continue our education and have already completed a variety of grill and smoker courses with renowned chefs, such as the Sasbachwalden Gourmet Cooking School, Weber Grill Classes and the Barbecue Academy Lindau.

In October 2017, we were able to deepen our BBQ knowledge through our two-week BBQ road trip through the southern states of the USA - where BBQ is seen as a religion. We visited the most successful BBQ restaurants, where we were warmly welcomed by the owners and were able to take a look behind the scenes. Here we were able to acquire a great deal of new knowledge and take new inspiration home with us. We were in the USA again in February 2020. This time we were in Texas, where brisket and beef ribs are the highlights. Here, too, we looked into the smokers at the most successful BBQ restaurants and had great, informative conversations with the owners. The hospitality was overwhelming.

Sebastian trained as a certified meat sommelier in Augsburg in 2022. This allows us to give you even better advice on meat and pass on extensive knowledge at our exclusive steak tastings. Christian has been a certified Cortador since 2023 and treats our customers to Iberico ham aged, air-dried and cut by hand for 3 years.

We process pieces of meat that are marinated with our own rubs (spice mixtures) and then cooked in hot smoke at a low temperature for 6—20 hours, making the meat wonderfully juicy and tender and gives it its typical smoke aroma. Our smoked meat specialities are prepared directly on site and the finished dishes are offered in buffet form.

Of course, we purchase our high-quality meat from selected regional butchers we trust.

A real barbecue should never be seen as a short-term and quick thing, but as a real event.
