TRADITION for over 290 YEARS
Johannes Balzhäuser has been running the family winery in Alsheim for the 9th generation. Always with the aim of getting the best out of every year and surpassing the previous one.
That's how work became a vocation, and work became passion. And something unique from every drop of wine. On 10 hectares of vineyards in Rheinhessen's third-largest wine-growing community, they dedicate themselves to the varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, but also reds such as Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.
That is the philosophy of Johannes and sums it all up:
