Where do the adventures take place?
From wine shops to wine bars to restaurants: You can definitely look forward to great wine and food locations with delicious specialities! All locations are within walking distance of each other.
We'll tell you in advance which Hanover district the self-guided Wine & Food Tour takes place (e.g. Hannover Nordend, Hannover Mitte). You and your group meet at a central meeting point in Hanover, from where you start your scavenger hunt. We will send you all further information by email one day before the event.
Each wine & food tour consists of a new combination of wines, snacks and people, so no tour is the same.
Timing of the self-guided wine & food tour
2:45 p.m.: Meeting point at a central square in Hanover
15:00: Start of the scavenger hunt
15:15 to 18:00: Visiting our selected wine & food locations
The self-guided wine & food tour lasts approximately three hours. If you are interested, you can of course round off the evening together with the rest of the group.
You can register together with friends, your family, but of course you can also register yourself. Each group consists of 8 to 14 people, with whom you do the tour together, so you are never alone!

What is the process of the self-guided Wine & Food scavenger hunt in Hanover?
In contrast to traditional guided tours, you navigate Hanover independently with other culinary explorers, equipped with puzzles and clues, similar to a scavenger hunt. Each puzzle solved reveals the next location on your trip and gives you an unforgettable experience with lots of fun and curiosity.
This self-guided tour combines the pleasure of wine and food tastings with the exciting experience of a scavenger hunt.
Together with your group of 8 to 15 other foodies, you'll go from one location to the next and meet great culinary experts. Just like a classic wine tasting session, you will try a selected wine or a bite to eat at the respective location and at the same time learn interesting information from professionals about the location and the delicacies on offer.
You can then take a quick look around the location before moving on to the next stop.
In this way, you will not only experience the diversity of the Hanoverian wine and food scene, but also the joy of discovering new places and solving exciting puzzles. So prepare yourself for an unforgettable afternoon, during which you can meet great new people at the same time.
Depending on the station, either the first glass of wine or the first snack is already included so that you can fully enjoy the variety of cuisine.
