Class description
Give a broken wool or cashmere sweater a second life! And that as wonderfully fluffy clothing for babies and children.
I'm Janine and I founded the sustainable upcycling label Jawoll Baby in 2021.
And together with me, you will learn everything about upcycling, the material wool and even use (at least!) A unique piece made by yourself to take home.
How does this activity work?
The workshop is also suitable for beginners, as I will be there to help you with advice and assistance.
The patterns are also already prepared per size, so you don't have to worry about cutting and sewing right away.
For example, you can choose from:
- Waxed pants
- a cap
- Gauntlets or a loop for babies and children
All materials are available, including damaged wool sweaters. But if you have a holey or washed too small cashmere sweater in your closet yourself, you are welcome to bring it with you to upcycle.
You are welcome to state color preferences for the material in advance.
Who should definitely take part?
The workshop is also ideal as a baby shower, baby shower or team event.
As a group, you can then sew initial equipment for the baby together, for example. Practical as well as sustainable (and particularly fluffy!) gift for expectant parents
