Celebrate love in all its forms with an unconventional Valentine's Day! Bring your partner, best friend or treat yourself to a solo date. Do something for your mind, body and soul: Work with sound.
This course is aimed at anyone who would like to learn how to make pottery by hand (without a turntable). In 2.5 hours, you will learn the three most important techniques: thumb, sausage and plate techniques. You'll get the knowledge and skills to create your first pieces.
After the course, we will subject your pieces to the complex process: drying, scrubber firing, glazing and final glaze firing. We are looking forward to exploring this wonderful material with you and are excited to see what you will create.
What you’ll do in the class
- Introduction to the basics of pottery.
- Prepare the sound: knead.
- Explanation of the main techniques.
- Pick up the finished burnt pieces after approx. 5—7 weeks.
