About this class
When making pottery, you have the chance to create something that lasts. At the end of this pottery course in Cologne, you will be holding your own pottery in your hands. Unleash your creativity and create your own work of art out of clay. In this pottery course, you have the opportunity to simply make whatever pottery you want.
Minimum number of participants: 4 people
Maximum number of participants: 8 people
With 2 kg of clay, everyone is free to decide how to use them. As an example, a larger cup requires around 400 g of clay, while a cereal bowl requires around 600-700 g of clay.
Where does the pottery course take place?
The workshop takes place at the Vevi Café in Cologne in a beautiful rustic setting.
What you’ll do in the class
- In my pottery course, I will show you the basics and various hand building techniques of free pottery (without a turntable).
- Get inspired and implement your own pottery ideas.
- You can then rework your clay creations and decorate them as you like.
- We work with black clay and I would be happy to finalize your creations with a glaze of your choice.
- The pottery works are then fired.
- You can pick them up a few weeks after the course or have them sent for a shipping fee of 5€.
