Discover your creative side in the Töpfer Hansebau course.
We work in a light-flooded artist's studio, where you can create your ceramic pieces with your hands and then paint them using the Engobe technique.
The large room offers the perfect location for the unique experience of working with sound and creating unique pieces that are made by yourself.
Through direct contact with the material: sound, it has a relaxing effect and, with your vital powers, is the ideal balance against everyday stress. Working with clay works through, kneading, sculpting, gluing, sculpting and relaxing.
You will create, knead, feel, shape, glue, model unique ceramic pieces that release your individual experience with clay.
From thumb technique to bead technique, we will try out the techniques together step by step and produce ceramic pieces & if you want, you can use creative texture and surface methods. Together, we will model a bowl and a cup by hand.
Afterwards, if you want, we will use the engobe technique together so that you can paint your finished ceramic pieces & we can burn them to a transparent shine for you after the bisque fire!
We have ceramic engobe available in different colors, including cannulas, so that you can - sign on your ceramic.
The course is ideal for beginners and anyone who has already gained experience with the material sound.
After the course, we will have to let your pieces dry out properly for you, put them in the scrub fire and then glaze them for you. The finished ceramic can then be picked up from our studio after approx. 2-3 weeks later. We will inform you about this via email.
On request, we can also send your great unique items for an additional charge.
Please bring old clothes or aprons so that you can really get started and of course lots of fun and joy, because there is nothing wrong in this workshop, everything is unique because you are unique,

How does this activity work?
After the greeting in front of main entrance door in front of the building, we take the elevator together to the studio floor which is located nice and bright on 4th floor. (its wheelchair friendly)
After a short introduction, we will gain an insight into the different construction techniques and try out the techniques ourselves and make two pieces of ceramic with organic clay.
Cafe / water are available. Free parking spaces are available directly in front of the building.
Who should definitely take part?
The course is ideal for beginners or advanced, all levels, who want to immerse themselves in the world of pottery. No previous knowledge is required.
We are happy to find an individual appointment during the week for groups of between 3 and 7 people.
No matter whether team building workshops, birthdays or bachelor parties. Even for Individual Children we are there and ready to have fun !
