About this class
Would you like to swing the hammer, see how your hands shape the stone and let the stones fly?
Then prepare yourself for a 2-day weekend workshop in the north of Vienna in Wolkersdorf in the Weinviertel region, a 10-minute walk from the train station.
The workshop takes place outdoors on the premises of MeiStoA. You will be accompanied by Johannes Selva (writer, sculptor, stonemason) and Maximilian Schmeiser (master stone sculptor/stonemason and restorer).
Work is done on 40 x 40 x 20 cm St. Margaretner sandstone. We recommend making a 1:10 cm scale model out of plasticine (pelikan playdough) or clay.
Tool rental, materials and drinks are included in the price.
