About this class

Casting terrazzo jewelry bowls — creative workshop for groups (approx. 2.5 hours)

Get creative together, laugh, toast and finally take home a unique jewelry bowl — our terrazzo workshop is the perfect experience for groups of friends, hen parties, birthdays, team events or simply a special afternoon together.

In a relaxed atmosphere, dive into the fascinating world of terrazzo design. After a short introduction, you will learn everything you need to know about the material, the process and the design options. No previous experience is required — we will guide you step by step through the entire workshop.

Let's start with the creative heart: you make your own terrazzo flakes. To do this, mix different color pigments and create small colorful elements that later create the unmistakable terrazzo look. Whether delicate natural shades, strong colors or elegant contrasts — you decide for yourself which color scheme suits your personal jewelry bowl.

Then choose your favorite mold. Round, oval or with a special shape — each variant gives your workpiece its very own character. The prepared flakes are now carefully arranged in the mold and combined with the casting compound.

That's when the big moment comes: The pouring. Now everything connects to your individual design. An exciting moment, because exactly what the finished pattern will look like later remains a little surprise until the end. It is precisely this anticipation that makes terrazzo casting so special.

While your jewelry bowls are hardening, it's time for a short break. Enjoy a glass of regional sparkling wine — either with or without alcohol — in a relaxed atmosphere and exchange ideas about your creations. Of course, water and other drinks are also available. This relaxing break makes the workshop a convivial experience that focuses on creativity and shared experience.

After the break, the most exhausting but at the same time the most exciting part of the workshop begins: grinding. With a little patience and craftsmanship, you can work out the surface of your jewelry bowl step by step. At first, the workpiece looks inconspicuous, but with every grinding, the colorful terrazzo flakes appear more and more. Little by little, unique patterns and colors are created, which make each jewelry bowl truly unique.

Yes, grinding requires some persistence — but this is where the real magic happens. The moment when the first coloured flakes become visible and the individual design comes to life is always a source of enthusiasm. Now at the latest, it's clear that the effort was worth it.

Finally, your jewelry bowl is cleaned and sealed so that you can take home a long-lasting and high-quality favorite piece. At the same time, you will take away many wonderful memories of a creative afternoon full of inspiration, good conversations and shared experiences.

Our terrazzo workshop combines creativity, deceleration and conviviality to create a special event where each group creates something unique together. In the end, each participant not only has a self-designed jewelry bowl in their hands, but also the joy of having created something with their own hands — individually, sustainably and guaranteed to be unique.
