About this class

Course description:
Papperlapapp helps children develop attitudes and attitudes that sensitize them to complex everyday life. You will have the chance to explore your feelings, strengthen your self-concept and try out how to deal with your feelings. To master life, you need a stable self-concept. You achieve this by becoming aware of your personality, feelings and thoughts.

Content of the courses:
The focus is on the assessment of individual feelings. You learn to distinguish between “pleasant, good” and “unpleasant, negative” feelings and how to practice dealing with them. It is particularly about the “unpleasant, negative” feelings that you may be exposed to in today's complex society. Through role-playing games and special exercises, you will learn to listen to your feelings, report incidents to parents and to respond to unpleasant situations with a clear “no.”

Who is the class suitable for?

Target group:
Preschool children 3-5 years/Primary school children 5-10 years/Teens 10-15 years
Papperlapapp is suitable for children and teenagers between 3 and 15 years of age. Since children/teenagers are still in the self-discovery and orientation phase in everyday life at this time, the Papperlapapp courses train how to behave confidently and how to deal with problematic situations (bullying, violence, aggression, threats from external persons). The Papperlapapp courses are therefore beneficial for all children. In particular, they help already shy and insecure children to better manage their everyday lives. Papperlapapp can therefore make a contribution to enabling children to participate successfully and to shape their future in a self-determined manner.

The project has been carried out in Rhineland-Palatinate for several years and was awarded, among other things, the State Prevention Prize. In contrast to other offers, we teach theoretical and practical content to children and young people and have our own teaching material.
