About this class
In the special period between the years, also known as “Rauhnacht”, silence and retrospective are the order of the day. Artistic activity is an excellent way to end the year and focus on new things. In this online project, you will receive suggestions for daily artistic work with the topics for Rauhnacht. You work independently and have the opportunity to exchange ideas with other participants in the online gallery and zoom meetings.
You can either compile the required materials yourself or purchase them from us as an addon for the course.
At the end of the project, a series of twelve pictures will be created to get you in the mood for the new year and help you to focus on the essentials of this time.
We look forward to your participation and exchange ideas about the intuitively created works!
What you’ll do in the class
After registration/course booking, you will receive written instructions on the material and procedure.
The project starts with a Zoom meeting. We present the material, the art techniques and the project process.
It's no problem if you don't have time to join the Zoom meeting. We will send all information again in writing.
On Christmas Day, December 25th, you will paint the first picture in the series yourself. You will receive suggestions in advance.
To share the pictures with other participants and for feedback from the course administration, we invite you to share your pictures in an online gallery.
Over the twelve days, you will paint a picture every day (time approx. 15 minutes per day). Through this serial creative activity, you can get into a special artistic flow and make particularly valuable use of this time for yourself.
Finally, we meet again to exchange ideas in a Zoom meeting.
You will receive the required material as an add-on and have it sent to you (or pick it up in Munich, Haidhausen). Alternatively, you can assemble the materials yourself.
Who is the class suitable for?
For anyone who wants to try something new, who wants to use the time “between the years” for creative work.
