About this class

In our “New Kintsugi” workshop, you will learn about the fascinating Japanese craftsmanship of kintsugi (gold connection). It is a traditional Japanese technique for repairing ceramics and porcelain. Since this repair method takes several weeks, we work in the workshop using the “New Kintsugi” method.
Instead of urushi paint and real gold, we use synthetic resin and color pigments. These harden faster and offer a wide range of color options.

You are welcome to bring your own pieces of ceramic or porcelain or practice on one provided by us. After the course, you will take your designed object home.
