Do you need a creative break? Do you already have some experience with sound and would you like to try a figure?
This course is aimed at anyone who wants to explore the beauty and diversity of the female body and deepen their artistic skills in modelling clay. Using models and small sculptures, we deal with proportions and human curves, looking closely and the principles of constructing sculptures.
The course is suitable for advanced learners.
How does this activity work?
- Date and time: The course takes place over a total of 2 days. On the first day, we focus on modelling, while the second day is the glazing date. If you can't make it to the second appointment, your finished glazed piece can also be sent to you. (plus glaze and shipping costs)
- Course content:
- Selection and advice on the template/model
- Explanations of the structure of a plastic
- Deepening artistic skills in modelling
- Techniques for realistically or abstractly representing body shapes
- Detailed work on proportions and surface design
- glaze or other color design of the fired sculpture on request
- Individual support: The course offers individual support to meet your artistic needs and progress.
- Glaze date: The glaze date is used to complete your work in color.
Who should definitely take part?
The course is suitable for advanced students who not only want to make pottery, but also want to try their hand at sculpting a figure.

- Clothing: Comfortable clothing that can also get dirty, and possibly an apron.

- Technical equipment: Two firing processes and the option to glaze your works.
- Tools and materials: All necessary tools and materials for modelling and glazing, as well as 2kg of clay.
