Class description
What you have seen, experienced, collected, thought and imagined — in this course you will learn how to combine all this in and into your very personal art book in a very playful and experimental way.
How does the Art Book Workshop work?
- Things that are close to your heart or remind you of special moments, for example, find their place here and become a self-designed diary, weekly, moment art book.
- Even the book cover itself can be part of the memory, or you can breathe new life into an old book or calendar with your ideas. Enjoying experimenting is also required in this course. There are no limits to your imagination.
- Whether colorful and wild, or restrained and monochrome — in this art workshop, you can paint, draw, doodle, dotted, written, torn, put together and glue, just as you like it.
In this course, I will show you various ways and techniques to fill your own art book with life and give you so much inspiration so that your booklet will continue to be your companion in the future.
Date and key data:
- The art workshop lasts 2 days, 4 hours each, 10-12 and 13-15
- Course location: PLAN:A, Atelier Anne Schwabe, Zahrenser Weg 25b, 29640 Schneverdingen
- Director: Anne Schwabe
About artist and course instructor Anne Schwabe:
Anne creates a relaxed, informal and appreciative atmosphere in her courses. It is very important to her to provide course participants with extensive knowledge of materials, techniques, etc. in such a way that they can draw from this and create free, self-created and developed work. She accompanies each painting student individually in their work and provides supportive impulses in her unobtrusively friendly manner.
Please note that the course takes place on two consecutive days.

PLAN:A Atelier Anne Schwabe
What initially began as a passion and with attending various artistic seminars developed into a freelance work as a visual artist. My work focuses in particular on free and (figurative) abstract painting.
