About this class
In this painting and drawing course for beginners, I will introduce you to various techniques using different materials over five dates. For each lesson, there are exercises and possible motives that you can try out. After getting to know each other for the first time, I will also adapt the motifs to your personal preferences. The basic structure of the course can be individually adjusted and I will take the time to answer your personal questions and wishes.
The focus is on the basics of drawing and painting. We train our eye for shapes, light and shadow, and color features. In doing so, we practice which techniques create which effects with which materials.

What to bring to the class
Water, tea and coffee are available on site. If you want other drinks and snacks, you are welcome to bring them along.

We provide the following materials:
- pencils and pens

- gouache and watercolor

What you’ll do in the class
We meet five times a week for 2 hours each. At the beginning of each meeting, there is a short theoretical part, which is then put into practice with exercises. In the last session, there is a free program: Each person translates their favorite technique into their own work of art.
The content can be flexibly adapted. In the first hour, I will discuss your individual wishes and expectations with you. The course is aimed at beginners.
