What awaits you
In this 4-hour hand & brush lettering workshop, you will receive the necessary knowledge and techniques to creatively design cards, gifts and pendants. In addition to basic theoretical knowledge of lettering and a detailed knowledge of materials, you will learn step by step how to structure letters, how to hold the pen correctly and how to use backgrounds and color gradients. At the end of the workshop, you will take your self-designed works home — perfect for the next special occasion.
Your content at a glance:
- You will receive basic theoretical knowledge for a perfect start. What is lettering? What types are there?
- Material science - Does and dont's for a long life of your pens
- Create backgrounds and color gradients for your individual cards, tags, and images
- Build up letters piece by piece at your own pace for an easy start
- Assistance and joint practice with valuable tips for the right pen position
- Tips on layouts and other ways you can use pens in addition to lettering
- You take your self-designed cards and pendants home

What you’ll do in the class
• Theoretical introduction: What is lettering and what types are there?
• Material science: Dos and don'ts for safe handling of pens and accessories.
• Letter structure & technique: Step by step, you will learn how to build letters at your own pace and use the correct pen position.
• Design: We practice creating backgrounds, color gradients, and layouts for cards and tags.
• Practical phase: Individual practice with my support so that you can successfully implement your projects.
• Conclusion: You take home your finished card and gift tags.
Who is the class suitable for?
The workshop is aimed at adults and adolescents over the age of 12 years. If your child may only be 11 but has great interest and some previous creative experience, participation is also possible.
