In this hand & brush lettering workshop, you will receive the necessary knowledge and techniques to creatively design cards, gifts and pendants. You will learn the basics of lettering, material science, letter structure, pen holding and how to use backgrounds and color gradients. At the end, you'll take your own works of art with you — perfect for special occasions.

What you’ll do in the class
• Theoretical introduction: What is lettering and what types are there?
• Material science: Dos and don'ts for safe handling of pens and accessories.
• Letter structure & technique: Step by step, you will learn how to build letters at your own pace and use the correct pen position.
• Design: We practice creating backgrounds, color gradients, and layouts for cards and tags.
• Practical phase: Individual practice with my support so that you can successfully implement your projects.
• Conclusion: You take home your finished card and gift tags.
Who is the class suitable for?
The workshop is aimed at adults and adolescents over the age of 12 years. If your child may only be 11 but has great interest and some previous creative experience, participation is also possible.
