About this class
Space, endless expanses. In this workshop, we explore the age-old question: What is out there, beyond the sky and millions of light years away? What could alien planets look like and who could inhabit them? Is it a gas planet or is its surface completely covered by water? Do its inhabitants have wings or can they change their shape. Together, we embark on a creative adventure to explore new worlds, alternative lives, and alien civilizations.
In doing so, we learn in a playful way how to represent simple or more complex figures and how to design a picture or scene. We gain insights into color theory, image composition, perspective and figurative drawing and experiment with various drawing techniques and materials. We paint dreamlike landscapes, illustrate strange creatures and unknown life forms, construct flying objects and create an entire solar system. Together, we dive into a cosmos that is as surprising, funny, bizarre and exciting as its inventors. Do you like drawing and would like to get creative during your vacation? The course is suitable for children and adolescents from school age up to 17 years. To ensure optimal planning security for our customers, the holiday workshop takes place regardless of the number of participants. This workshop can only be booked for the entire workshop period.
On Thursday, 19.06.25, the studio will be closed due to the holiday of Corpus Christi.
What you’ll do in the class
It starts every day at 9:30 a.m. We will have a lunch break between 12:00 and 13:00 and go out to eat. This costs 16 euros per day and is generally optional, but highly recommended for group dynamic reasons. The package of 16 euros for lunch covers the main course, two drinks and ice cream as a dessert. A booking can only be made for the entire workshop period and must be paid no later than 1 week before the start of the event. Please transfer the total amount of 64€ to the ART SPOT account and inform us briefly by email.
In exceptional cases, you can also eat your own food in the restaurant if you have allergies and intolerances. Older participants can also spend lunchtime on their own responsibility, subject to a written declaration from their legal guardians. Unfortunately, it is not possible to stay in the studio during lunchtime.
