About this class
In this course, you will discover the art of ceramic painting, practice-oriented and creative. You bring your own piece of burnt ceramic or choose one from me. Then experiment with various techniques: underglaze paint (very colorful and intense) or fine drawings with special colored pencils. A mixing technique is also possible.
What you’ll do in the class
- You work with finished fired ceramics you have brought along (there will also be some pieces to choose from in the studio, such as plates or mugs)
- Your creativity is supported by high-quality material
- You'll learn how to use different brushes and techniques
- Decorate your own ceramic piece with your pattern or motif
- Glazing the ceramic works with a transparent glaze
- 2-3 weeks later, the glazed and finished fired ceramic is ready for collection
