About this class
Learn how to finger knit without needles from thick fluffy merino wool and create a large Advent or decorative wreath for your Christmas & winter decoration.
In my crochet workshops in Bad Schönborn near Heidelberg and Karlsruhe, I'll show you how you can make a super great wreath yourself from thick merino wool. With your fingers and the thick merino yarn, you can make rapid progress and will soon have your sense of success in your hands. You can decorate the finished merino carnation either with candle holders or with further decoration as a wall & door wreath.
Enjoy the creative atmosphere and the exchange with other crochet fans while you create beautiful modern Christmas decorations with your hands.
The crochet course is suitable for advanced and beginners. No previous knowledge of crocheting or knitting is required for finger knitting. No matter what crochet experience you have, I will help you make the merino wreath with ease.

What to bring to the class
All you have to bring along is an interest in learning something new and having fun doing crafts.
What is included in the class?
- The yarn & ring for a merino wreath (45 cm diameter) is included in the course price. You can choose from a few shades of beige & gray on site or let me know your desired color in advance (up to 2 weeks before the start of the course).
- Accessories such as scissors, needles and other utensils are available on site.
- Of course, there is a small selection of drinks such as water, tea and coffee.
- Small treats are also provided.

What you’ll do in the class
After a relaxed arrival in the course room, participants choose a color for their crochet project. There are plenty of colors to choose from here. Then we start the crochet project together. The color can also be coordinated with me in advance and an attempt will be made to order the desired color (at least 2 weeks before the start of the course). Soft shades of beige & gray are available as standard colors.
At the beginning, I will explain the basic techniques needed to finger knit a wreath. As the crochet project continues to grow, I am available with advice and assistance and help when things get stuck or a small mistake has crept in.
You can always take short breaks in between.

The crochet course is suitable for beginners and advanced users. All basic techniques are explained in detail.
