What is a Gusto route in Cologne?

Love Your City — Gusto Route is a culinary-inspired Veedel tour, during which you discover 8-10 selected locations on a suggested route — for example cafés, bakeries, small shops, kiosks, delicatessen or local manufacturers.

You travel individually (on foot, by bike or with KVB).

Around 60—80 participants take part per event.

The routes are approx. 5-7 km long and can be done in a relaxed manner in around 5 hours.

In every location, you'll receive a small gift — for example samples, small snacks, sweet surprises or giveaways.

In between locations, there are also selected stops with interesting background stories, interesting facts and places worth seeing in the Veedel.

The Gusto Route “Cologne West” takes you through the Veedel Sülz, Klettenberg and Lindenthal — three districts known for their relaxed atmosphere, beautiful roads and special places.

Off the typical trails, you'll discover selected spots that make up the character of West Cologne. The route is complemented by interesting corners as well as exciting background stories and interesting facts about the Veedeles.

Perfect for a relaxing stroll, a date, or simply to explore new corners of your city. You can discover the Gusto Route between 11:00 and 16:00.
