During the evening, 6 Georgian wines are presented one by one by our trained sommelier and tasted together.
In addition to information about the individual wines, the long history of viticulture in Georgia and the cultural significance there are also discussed and explained.
Another topic is the traditional ageing process in Quevris in Georgia, which strongly distinguishes wines from our Western European products.
Meal accompaniment:
Home-made tapas, a menu with Georgian dishes created especially for this evening, will be served.
Inspired by a local visit and partly prepared in collaboration with a Georgian restaurant in Hamburg.
What you’ll do in the class
The six wines are accompanied by a large bottle of water and homemade tapas. While the wines are being tasted, our sommelier provides participants with interesting information and anecdotes about wines, winemakers and the winery. The rehearsal lasts approximately three hours and starts at 19:00.
