Class description
A photo walk full of long exposures and photographic experiments in the glow of the “Christmas Garden” at night: varied light shows, colorful dream forests and illuminated Christmas figures invite you to be photographed by us.
This photo workshop on night photography and long exposure photography gives you all the know-how you need to create breathtaking pictures on Advent night.
Creativity & technology — the topics in the photo course
You will not only learn the technical basics, but also creative lighting techniques and tricks that can make your shots even more exciting and unusual. Among other things, I'll show you how to smooth water surfaces, create atmospheric bokeh (background blur of lights) and optimally stage the colors of the night.
A short introduction to the spectacular ICM technology (Intentional Camera Movement, i.e. the intended movement of the camera during exposure) should of course not be missing here.
Let your creativity run wild and bring the pre-Christmas lights to life!
What do we learn in the photo course?
- Basics of long exposure and night photography
- Focus at night

Where are we going to shoot?
During the joint photo tour through the glowing winter fairytale landscape in the botanical garden, we look for the most beautiful light installations, where you can play wonderfully photographically with light and atmosphere.

Who is the photo course suitable for?
In this photo workshop, the individual support of each individual participant is very important to me. You'll be picked up right where you are — both on the creative and technical side.
Together, we try out perspectives and techniques, always looking for new image ideas and exciting motifs to experiment with.
No previous experience is necessary - the photo course is suitable for both beginners and advanced users.
