Discover Bavarian humor in its best form at the “Bavarian for Beginners” comedy dinner in Munich.
An evening full of laughter, culture and pleasure awaits you in the oldest inn in town. Enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner and be carried away by the hilarious interaction between Urbayern Schorsch Kirchmeier and Prussian school inspector Frederike von Biederstädt.
The story:
When Schorsch Kirchmeier, as a self-appointed lecturer and senior teacher, counteracts the terrible prophecy of a study - Bavarian dialect would be extinct by 2040 - no eye remains dry. The appeal of this very special lesson at the “Ackerdemie für die Künste der Künste der Bayrische Lebensstil” lies in the vehement battle of the Bavarian school inspector Frederike from Biederstädt, who makes herself extremely important on the spot on behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of Education. While Schorsch dialect unabashedly shares his wisdom about the customs and traditions of his homeland, Prussian Frederike is helplessly torn between the correct execution of office and her endearing attempts to indulge in, of course, with good comments.
An evening where tradition and humor merge in a delicious way.
