Tired of staring at screens all day and craving a hands-on creative break? Already thinking about handmade gifts?
In this four-hour beginner Tufting Workshop in Berlin, you'll explore the basics of machine tufting and learn how to craft a custom rug or wall hanging up to 32 cm x 32 cm. You'll have the chance to try tufting guns, work alongside others, and choose from a wide selection of acrylic yarn colors to make a personal artwork. At the end of the session, you'll leave your piece with us for finishing, and it will be ready for pickup once backed.

What to bring to the class
Wear comfortable clothing without loose decorations, as you'll be working with moving equipment. If you already have a design you'd like to turn into a rug, feel free to bring it.
What is included in the class?
The workshop provides all tools and materials, including canvas, tufting machines, yarn spinners, and a wide variety of acrylic yarns. Once we apply the backing, your rug will be ready to collect within three business days.

What you’ll do in the class
Feel free to arrive with a couple of ideas, inspirational objects, a pinterest board or no plan at all! We recommend coming with a flexible concept that can evolve as you explore different textures and shades. If you bring your own design, please keep it simple, as fine details are challenging to achieve and require additional time.
You'll quickly pick up the tufting technique, so even complete beginners can create something beautiful. If you have a design ready, we will guide you through translating it into a rug. If not, we're happy to help you sketch a charming motif on the spot.
Finished rugs will be glued and backed by us and will be ready for pickup within three business days.
Who is the class suitable for?
This workshop is ideal for beginners, but participants with previous tufting experience are just as welcome. It's a great activity for friends, small birthday gatherings, or a creative date.
