About this class
Crocheting is back on! In recent years, kawaii [yep.: cute (en)] crochet figures have become increasingly popular.
From animals to dolls to crocheted food. The range of amigurumi is huge!
Amigurumi crocheting is easy even for absolute crochet beginners with a little skill, as the figures are mainly crocheted with the simple basic stitch (fixed stitch).
Once you get the hang of it, you can barely stop crocheting!
The materials needed to make your amigurumi are included in the total price.
The workshops take place at my home in Charlottenburg.
What you’ll do in the class
In this workshop for beginners, I first show the hand position of the thread and the needle and we practice chain stitches and tight stitches.
Then we'll start the amigurumi project and make a cute crochet octopus.
Using the example, you will also learn how to read crochet so that you can crochet according to instructions in the future.
At the end of the course, you'll go home with your first self-crocheted amigurumi, a lot of pride in yourself and hopefully a new wonderful hobby!
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is suitable for adults and children over 11 years of age. A bit of fine motor skills and some patience should be brought along.
