Action Painting in Berlin
ColorChaos is Berlin's first action painting studio in Prenzlauer Berg — and deliberately not a painting or art course. We have no teacher, no instructions, no technique that you need to learn. Instead, you get your own wooden box, a protective suit, canvases, colors in all variations and the freedom to just get started.
Inspired by Jackson Pollock, we bring action painting out of the art context and turn it into an experience that everyone can enjoy — completely regardless of talent or previous experience. Spin, splash, drip, throw: You decide how to disassemble your canvas. A curated playlist provides the right energy, the protective suit protects your clothes, and the box gives you the space to let off steam freely.
Action painting at ColorChaos is therapy, workout and party in one — perfect for anyone who wants to get out of their head and into action. In the end, you take your finished canvas home: a unique piece that captures the exact moment when you let go.

- Good humor and a desire for chaos — that's all
- Not the latest clothes. If something goes through the protective suit, it goes well after a wash, as we only use water-based paints

Teamevents and groups
How does this experience take place?
- Arrival & briefing (10 min): Welcome, short tour of the location, handover of protective equipment
- Preparation (5 min): Put on protective suit, shoe covers and glasses, get your own box
- Short introduction (5 min): We'll show you the various utensils and our colors
- Action Painting (60 min): Music on, get started. No instructions, no right or wrong. We're close by if you have any questions or need more material
- Drying & finishing (15 min): Your canvas can dry, you take off your suit and take souvenir photos
- Takeaway (one week later): You take your canvas - framed for an additional charge - home
Important: This is not a classic painting or art course. For us, it is not about learning, but about experiencing and letting go.
